Travel in time on the oldest railway in South-Eastern Europe – 14 tunnels, 10 viaducts, cuts in the mountain on a length of 21 kilometers, so over two-thirds of the whole route!
A pair of trains run on the Oravița – Anina route and return and the reservation of the place is mandatory!
- Regio 9695 from Oravița to Anina, departure at 11.15 and arrive in Anina at 13.18
- Regio 9694 from Anina to Oravița, departure at 14.40 and arrive in Oravița at 16.42
The travel tickets can be purchased within the limits of available seats, with 30 days’ anticipation form any TICKET OFFICES with electronic issuance, AT THE RAILWAY STATIONS AND „CFR Călători” TRAVEL AGENCIES, ONLINE and Vending machines.
On the departure of the train, tickets can be purchased both at Oravita railway station and from the train staff, at the same price (including reserved seats) within the limit of available seats.
On this route travel tickets are also issued through which commercial offers are granted by SNTFC „CFR Călători” (Round trip ticket, VSD travel card (for Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Week-end travel ticket, Discount for advance purchase tickets etc), as well as travel facilities by rail based on legislation (pupils, students, retirees, revolutionaries, veterans of war, persecuted persons for political or ethnic reasons, people with disabilities, inhabitants of Apuseni mountains „moţi”).
Monthly or weekly subscriptions are issued in accordance with the requested tariff area.

* The transport fee does not include the reservation ticket fee.
For groups of people traveling together under the same conditions (same train, same date, relationship, class), requests can be made for seat reservations without paying the related transport fares on the spot.
